No one likes to think about how unruly their students are inevitably going to become. As teachers, we all prefer to think about sweet, sticky hugs from lovey little children. But, as the year wears on, those precious, innocent kids will turn into Gremlins. It's a fact. That's why it's so important to have your classroom management started from the moment they walk through your classroom door. Linked below is the tiered approach that my current school uses--each one has their own ideas, but they are generally pretty similar. I also added my first day of school letter that was sent home to parents that I modified with my own rules and teaching style that outlined classroom management for both student and parent.
